If you put up the cash for the difference for me, I'll go 6. But since it was a 4 banger I was offered, at an amazing price, uhhh....me.

Did you get the truck running right, or is it still giving you trouble?

well, i cleaned the tb, put in new maf took it for a spin. it pulled hard through every gear no hesitation or bogging down. drove it for around thirty minutes and it threw a code right when i was pulling into my neighborhood. i had my scanner hooked up and it was a p0701 again. i grabbed a new fuel filter but it started snowing pretty hard so i am gonna attempt to drive up to breckenridge tomorrow as i have to work at eleven so hopefully i get there! i cleared code i'll keep you guys updated. on a side note my radio is not working either, guess i'll be breaking out the multimeter sometime this week. the truck has a cb and aftermarket cd player and two amps and a sub. those are all prolly gonna go.

My truck had alot of the same issues as yours. It would run fine til it got to normal operating temp then is was slow to rev and would hesitate under wot.
I replaced the maf, fuel filter, plugs, wires, egr, cleaned the t body, replaced intake gaskets, new o2 sensors all before i finally fixed the problem.
Do yourself a favor and get the fuel pressure read-
That code can be a bastard to chase down.
Mine turned out to be my fuel pump strainer was clogged. I replaced the pump and all is good.

Please listen to this guy and me. I had the same code. Truck would run ok, but code would not go away. I changed plugs, wires, coils, fuel filter, O2 sensors, MAF, etc..... Finally gave up and took it to a mechanic. Two hours later I get a call saying low fuel pressure. Truck would still run fine, but the fuel pump was weak. Changed the fuel pump and bye bye P0171.

GF's extra 4runner jumped popped same code, P0171. It won't even start though. All signs of no fuel. I'm not even bothering checking anything, and just went ahead and ordered a new fuel pump.
