We were just at sports authority looking at other sleeping bags :anonymous:
They have a pretty soft fleece blanket on sale.

My comments were mere poking fun and the usual bs that goes around "most of the time"... not for anyone to get hurt feelings over or take personally.. did have a ton of fun, and would almost do that trail again..

I was more upset about the fact that miles had to pull me twice and it wasn't even raining... lol.

May have a line on an allpro rear with the side covers...
and before any other wheeling trips that damn muffler is definitely getting chopped..

Live and learn... and to think miles had that Sawzall with him... who would have thought that I should have done some "campsite modding"..

Yea... feel a bit better it's really not a 100% mall crawler

***Disclaimer - not to upset anyone that has a mall crawler, but that's not what I want***
***Note - if the above mentioned dI'd upset anyone:
    1. Find a mirror
    2. Look in said mirror
    3. Say (outloud). "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and dang-gone-it..people like me"..
    4. Repeat 3 times..

    It's all good :D
With all the work we put into modding our trucks, it's nice to find out what they are capable of. Like those ruts where I nearly smashed my fender on that tree 3 times. It was the first time i had real trouble getting over something. Kirby made it over with stock tires on a different line. I just wasn't paying attention to what he did since I had been through there in the dry so many times. I want to see what my truck can and can't do. I like to think that we all feel the same way.
Oh and DCSB FTW on tight uphill hairpins :D
Just sucks when you have to load it up with people and enough gear for them all

Good thing too our friend wasn't waiting for us on that pass like he was on the way out.. that may have put an instant dampener on the weekend festivities...

And btw... I could care almost less about the wheeling.. the fried rice and ribs are worth the trip up alone....:p

Yeah, I think I will avoid that bypass from now on. He probably won't venture the lower road with that truck, but I know they bring ATVs up there.

Well your truck made it through the opposite of "mall". You can get a killer bumper back there now.;)

I'm good, was with another guy and he winched me over. Had some damage, but nothing too bad. I broke my transfer case yesterday in Waikane so I'm out for a little while.

You would be surprised how much of that will polish out by hand. About 98% of it would come out with a polisher :D
    I don't blame you Iven :)

I watched the video a few times and I can think of at least 3 ways I could have done better with that rock. And if I had just called for help moving the Boulder in the first place it would have saved all of us.

The fender doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would, and I got all the pinstripes out of one of the doors, still have three more doors and four fenders though

I probably won't take that road again, partly because I don't like the trail-blazing kind of offroading, but mostly because it brought out my closdrophobic side. Now that I know how long the trail is, I would be less stressed, but I think that is still a little too long for me. When we started I was thinking an hour and a half at the most, boy was I wrong

I'm still coming back up there when you guys go, but I'm going to camp and hang out more than anything. So I'll just hitch with Miles for all that stuff lol
