Just got mine Monday, paid $23,850 and $26175 with TTL and Gap ins, at a reputable Honda lot.
1 mid 60's, local owner, garage kept, 67k miles, 4x4, brand new Michelins, in showroom shape. Indiana state tax is 7%. This is my second Tacoma and is the EXACT truck I was looking for so I wasn't going to let a grand or so keep me from buying it, especially since the Tacoma's are hard to find in my area. I love it! Mods are coming soon.

First 06 DCLB had 111,000 km paid just under 25,000 after taxes from a dealership, new tires, free oil changes and warranty.
Current 06 DCLB 180,000km 18,000 after taxes from a dodge dealership. was involved in one minor accident and got an extended warranty.

Two months ago I bought a 2012 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4 in Nautical Blue Metallic. It had a clean record and around 30k miles. I was able to get it for $18,120+TTL. My girlfriend's dad is a service manager at the dealership where it was traded in at.

It came with a backup camera, all-weather floor mats, roof rack, bull bar, side steps, bug deflector, and a tonneau cover. I've taken the majority of the extras off and have sold them since I bought it.

    At the dealership:

Paid 13K for my 06 access cab 4x4 back in February. Just under 100,000 miles super base, manual everything. Kind of wish that I spent the extra for something a little more fancy. But I needed a vehicle and couldn't pass up this deal.

I just bought mine a month ago for $20.5k taxes and title included from a local used car dealership. 44k miles on a one owner, 2006 SR5 4x4 DCSB, with a soft tonneau cover. Drives like it came off the assembly line 2 weeks ago. The carfax backed up the mileage to include all of the dealer oil changes at the proper intervals. I was looking for the right one for 6 months.

The dealer put on new brakes all the way around, new tires, new wipers, changed the oil and filter. Then they registered it, issued new plates and took it up for an inspection sticker. Walked in at 9am and drove my new wheels out of the dealership at 3pm. Took me longer to clean out my old silverado than it did to buy this one.

Had to buy mine on the fly, previous '00 PreRunner, frame rot Dec of '12 84k on her. Yoda bought back ($20.5k) :D so had 3 weeks of a free Taco rental to locate new ride before I got the check or I would of had no ride. And didn't feel like wasting money on a rental. Located an '06 A/C SR5 4x4 V6, 6 spd 47k LSD rear at a Hyundai stealership for $20.5 Jan of '13 basically a trade off. So less miles on the newer rig and 4x4. As it was just about every truck I located was being sold as I called the place X-Mas time. Found my current on a weekend when they were closed so set up a test drive over the net. They called the next morning as I got there another person walked in behind me wanting to buy it outright, I had 1st dibs. Talked them down from 21.5 and had them fix the rear bumper since some idiot put a ball on it and screwed up the bumper, their mechanics couldn't figure out how to fix it  so I took the salesman to yoda (next door)and had him pay for the parts and I fixed it.

If you wanna play, you gotta pay! It is amazing what low mileage used Taco's are selling for.

I looked for almost 6 months before I found the one with all of the options I wanted and the low mileage.

Paid $18,250 + TTL for a 2008 DCSB 4x4 Sport with 83,000 miles on it in September of 2014.

I looked for about a month within a 1,000 mile range for what I was looking for and was amazed at how well these things are holding value around here.

    Either way, I'm happy....
