Intro threads with new rigs bought by page 2 are pretty nice. We need more like this.

    3" lift? A.R.E cap 285/70/17 moto metal 955 17x9
The only things that I saw in the vid that I would question
    1) the tailgate is bowed
    2) rear bumper should be white?
    3) no rear seat headrests

other than that it looks like a nice find

    Well, since you asked...

I just made a thread on here about my truck, which was recently involved in an accident (rear-ended, not my fault) and a theft. I have every single receipt, police report, estimate, etc. relating to repairs from both of those instances. Is my truck's value affected? Unfortunately, it most certainly is. Is it's function impacted? Not in the least. It was professionally repaired, and honestly looks much better than the truck you're looking at (I'd sell it to you for cheaper too!). If properly repaired, a vehicle's FUNCTION is not impacted by a wreck, especially if there was no structural damage. I feel totally comfortable knowing that whoever buys it is getting a steal, considering the truck's condition and how it's been treated it's whole life.

That being said, there are a lot of things when watching that video that make me leery that this truck was not loved or cared for in the same manner, and when it was repaired, it was not done properly. As I mentioned earlier, the gaps on the front fender don't match. The hood paint color is slightly off that of the bumper (which just indicates the front end minus the hood was replaced/repainted). Beyond that, the attention to detail was lacking. The rear bumper is wrong, the front bumper is painted incorrectly, and they totally ignored the tailgate damage.

Just my opinion. If you're looking for a truck to drive into the ground and don't care about it being perfect, it may be a great truck if the price were right. But if you're concerned with it being "right" and "looking new"...you could do way better. They're asking $24,000 for a 2007 Tacoma w/ 82k miles on it that's obviously been repaired. That's not a great deal.

EDIT: I just looked at your Auto Check report. It's pretty worthless to me - it's obviously been repaired. The repair just wasn't reported.

It's bought. They put in head rests, grill was missing a little braket. After I bought it I put a bolt in I had in the shop on and secured it. Is better now. The tail gate is bowed but it's a 7 year old truck for a competitive price I'm happy. I'm going to see about welding a peice of flat metal to the inside of the tailgate to strengthen it... It it just mine or are they kinda thin and cheap feeling?

My thoughts on the repairs made to the bumper could have been something simple they needed to fix for esthetics for sale. I got the price down to $22,500. Seems fair for this area when one the same went for 25k with higher miles.

Steel tailgate caps available, and all in one cap and panel also available from another supplier. A third supplier hasn't got to market yet. Do your homework and look in the 2nd Gen Marketplace!

And we still want pics of you with the truck!

Must have for our trucks. Layer up the security for the tailgate... I hate to say it.

Start a build thread early to keep track of your mods ;)

So people can't steal your tailgate. Takes less than 10 seconds.

If this truck see's half the use our fleet trucks do it's not a surprise the tailgate is bowed. Even my 2500 Ram has a bowed tail gate. To me it just means they probably put a few pallets/forklift worthy items on the tailgate at some point and over time it's bowed.

That being said I might look into doing some transmission/differentials/transfer case gear oil changes, since some fleets rarely do any maintenance before they have to and your truck probably was worked hard.
