4-banger is not a 4.0, you also said 'what gears should I get for my front locker', that doesn't make much sense to me.

Edit: Just re-read what you put, if I had a 4 banger they would get 4.88s period. The locker question still stumps me.

Don't think they sell air tank. The tank is not required component for those who are wondering. Next time I talk to them I'll ask.

If you don't find an answer here (I'm not an expert sorry I can't help) then post in your respective sub-forum. The techy guys who already have lockers are probably not looking at this thread.

    GB Toyota 8" IFS ARB Air Locker RD111 - 30 Spline (3.92 & Up)
    GB Toyota 8" IFS ARB Air Locker RD121 - 30 Spline (3.73 & Down)

Maybe that helps? Still have no idea which one to buy, lol.

Your 4 banger has 4.10s, so you need an RD111. If you swap out to 4.88s the same rule applies, RD111

Why would you regear a 4.0 on 32s? If you're going to go bigger tire and you have an automatic get some 4:88s. And see below.

Toyota 8 inch Clamshell 2005 and Up

    RD121 3.73 AND DOWN
    RD111 3.90 AND UP

    However,
all aftermarket front clamshell gears are Thick Cut to fit the 3.73 and down carrier.

    T8CS-456RT TOYOTA 8 CLAMSHELL - 456 REVERSE THICK
    T8CS-488RT TOYOTA 8 CLAMSHELL - 488 REVERSE THICK

Basically the only thing a RD111 is good for is factory 3.90 and 4.11 ratios. Nitro is tupposedly coming out with a 4.10 reverse thick soon.

Some confusion occurs b/c the original 4.88's made by G2 and Nitro were 4.88 thin fitting the 4 series carrier these are no longer available. (we do have one saving it for the unlucky man that has the RD111 and wants to regear..) That part # would have been T8CS-488R

Ordered the front locker and gears. Can't wait for the install. I already have the compressor in and my rear was regeared a month ago when it grenaded. Just been waiting to get the cash together to do the front and have 4wd again.

Damn I think I ordered the wrong locker. They'll figure it out I'm sure.

I did when they sent my confirmation. As I suspected, they had squared me away already. Pretty awesome group of folks
