Weathertech front floor liners, window vent visors. Custom bedside decals. OEM bed mat, tonneau covrew. Added D rings to bed.
If they are replacing the leaf springs I am glad. I loaded the bed of my truck last night with some 24 packs of water and some 12 packs of pop. not alot, but some. My leaf springs were flat as a pancake. Not what I would expect from an OFF ROAD truck.

Anyone in the DFW area- Freeman Toyota was great to deal with on this. I called them about the TSBs for my 09, and they made an appointment for the next day. Got the lights, and gas pedal dealt with. As stated earlier; they'll mail me a letter once they have the surplus of parts for leaf spring issue.

Went to the dealer in Lakewood, CO today (Stevinsons Toyota). The guy at service told me that the suspension tsb for 05-11 tacomas is being changed to a recall because people have actually been having the leaf springs break. I'm all about the recall because that means they are guaranteeing that they will replace with the four leaf pack. My concern is that the tsb calls for new shocks on all for corners as well and the guy told me the recall does not include them. They also said it would take 2-3 months before they would have the recall out and the parts stocked....should i go in again later this week with tsb in hand to try and get them to replace the leaf pack and the shocks? also has anyone else been told about this recall?

The rear spring recall just showed up on my owner's page - it does note that "Toyota is working on a remedy" , whatever that means ....
I'll try to talk with them later today , see what's up .

    Yeah.
Sarge, I just use the snipping tool in Windows and save as a jpg.

I checked my owner's page and the only recall that shows up is the tire inflation label. I wonder what years are covered.

    Yeah.
Ah, ok. Mine is a 2012, so apparently it isn't covered (yet). I would still like to know if the 2012 part number is different from previous years -- the springs do seem sturdier than the ones that came on my old 2009, but it could be my imagination.

Run your VIN on Toyotas website. It will list any applicable recalls or TSBs associated to your VIN

Factory Engenders think that we like to fuck with knobs and are not going to appeal about climate con-troll. it is not hard to do but every other Toyota has it. there has to be a mod that will fix this and bring my family into the 21st century. this is where Toyota could make a difference but it does not seem to matter to them..
I have livid out of these Trucks in Africa and Afghanistan and have been blown up in one. (I suffer greatly) I will never own anything other than a Toyota. What I need is some Americans that can tell me how to make this happen!
