At Lous Custom Exhaust getting my y-pipe welded up

 

I thought you just replaced that...

 

Did a mock up with flex pipe last night.

Welded up with real pipe today

 

No, that's not it.
I could have sworn that a couple of months ago you replaced your dented and rusty Y pipe with a slightly less rusty and dented Y pipe...

Back in the spring, maybe?

 

Itching to get out.I drove around a spot in Taunton.Barriers on both sides.Tried an alternate way in but being alone I didn't get all that far.Anyone want to share a spot with a local RIer .I'M older and travel mostly without a crew.1 or 2 at the most.I got nothing.A dirt road here and there.I run the RI beaches but am looking for something more.Shoot me a PM if your willing to help.BTW..I was deployed after 9/11 for a 6 month stint in the states as support.I was in Transportation and now am out. So happy veterans day guys.

Holy shit, the upper bolts on the rear shocks are tough, burnt through a blade on my sawzall cutting off just one side........and i didnt get low enough, maybe a 1/16th left of the nut attached to the bolt but its still holding! Fml! Haha

 

The other side....nice and rusty!

 

Fred, if you have a grinder, use it on the nuts on the rear shocks. That is what I used when I lifted my truck, and it took them right off.

 

Nice! Thanks for the tip, I didn't even think of using one, I'm pretty sure my father has one.

Bought a couple leafs from rob sometime last year.....then maybe 3 months ago got around to ordering 5100's all around.....sunday i finally started the install, haha. Currently have the leafs installed, borrowing a grinder tomorrow, so hopefully by tomorrow night the rear will be done. Have to find a spring compressor then ill tackle the front.
