    What'd you get?
I just got my 30-30 from my grandparents, gonna pull the scope and just use the open sights and put the scope on my 6.8.

We close on our hunting property first of next week and after that it'll be some prep work and then we can get down to the hunting.

Ruger American Predator in 308 with a Redfield Revenge 3-9 up top. For a woods gun it'll be perfect.

Reason why I wanted the Ruger Predator is it has a 18" barrel so it's pretty short (38") compared to more traditional style rifles that are 44"+ It's the same length as my Marlin so it'll do good.

Still cant find ammo for my Marlin, damn .35rem why you have to be so rare.

Nice, I really like those rifles, haven't had a chance to shoot one yet, but the 300 BLK rifle has me interested.

Dry firing it feels nice. I'll probably do most of the sighting in with some cheap ammo, then finish it using the ammo I plan on using to hunt with...this year it'll be Winchester Supreme 168s since my dealer just gave me a box since he doesn't shoot 308 anymore haha.
