Congrats on the new ride, but what made you decide to go with that bull bar? I looks like it came off a honda ridgeline. Your truck would look so much better without it IMO.

Pete, I was looking for a bull bar that would allow me to later on install the undercover winch (which I just bought), I do not like the regular "pipe" bull-bar that I've seen in many trucks (the one they sell in Amazon)

I really like it to be honest and it's tougher than it looks.

^^Looking good. I think its funny that AP makes a slot for the factory tie down. That shit should just get cut off, if you need to tie down the vehicle for transport you could just use the shackle recovery points.

It's not, the brand is BigCountry, but they do make the same bull-bar for the Hilux.

    Thanks for the compliments, guys!

You're absolutely right. It looks a little cheesy.

I like them, so far. Haven't really had the chance to use them on the trails yet.

The rear bumper is made by All Pro and there's nothing custom, except for the paint. I had it sprayed with Line-X. If I had the chance to do it over, I would go a different route. Line-X is the thinnest coating out of the bedliner options, but it's still pretty thick. I had to do a LOT of grinding, trimming and stripping to get everything to line up properly. The paint's also a dirt-catcher. Being it's textured, it's a bitch to get clean when it gets muddy. Other than that, I think it looks good and it should be pretty durable.
