Beautiful day, so I decided to wash, wax, dress the tires etc. Also my colormatched grille showed up. HUGE improvement IMO, especially on the white truck since Ive got the white/black thing going on. Picked it up for $175 shipped.

Also added some "4WD" decals that I had. I really think the red looks great on the white truck and really makes the decal "pop"...much like the off-road decal...

EDIT: Added picture to give better idea of 4WD placement...

    Final mods before winter starts:

    1) Wet Okole Group Buy
    2) PA15-Toy Ipod Adapter
    3) Remote Start

I need to find some time to take some more professional shots...maybe at the airport or something.

Well...I was until you 3 asked lol. I should take a picture from farther back. It think it actually looks great, and it fills the side a lot more...nice and balanced from the Tacoma decal, to the 4WD, to the rear OffRoad decal.

I actually taped the 4WD sticker all over the truck trying to find the best fit (tailgate left-right, upper side, above "Tacoma" on door, after "Tacoma" on door...the place I put it I felt gave the best feel and...ah...feng shui lol? Am I totally out to lunch on this one or does it look decent?

You can find them on the web, ebay, etc. Stuff like that you can usually find on ebay for pretty cheap.

Cool thanks. I like the 4WD on the rear door. It's unique and sets your truck apart from the rest. Nice mod.

I like the emblem itself - the chrome and red look great, but the placement is off. There is something on almost every body panel of the truck. IMO, the truck needs what is referred to in technical writing as white space. If you look at written documents, you will notice that what makes them visually appealing is some amount of blank or white space.

Hmm...well maybe Ill have to pull 'em off and look at it again. I still dont think the pictures do it justice. When you stand back and look at it, it seems to balance the side out quite well. The only other place I really liked it was in the upper right side of the "Toyota Tacoma" on the bottom left of the tailgate. Maybe Ill have to reconsider that placement.

    A few bolts are different.
If you decide to move it try the 4WD emblem at the back of the rear door windows like the older model limited tacos. for example
