    Just my opinion, but I've heard the 18 magnaflow on a 3.4 and it sounds ricey. I have a Flowmaster 40 and it sounds really good. It's a deep sound, like a V8, but has it's own characteristic. I get compliments all the time. And I really don't hear my exhaust over my tires on the highway, the resonating is not that bad

    Have you heard what a 3.4 with a 40 sounds like? Because that's exactly what it sounds like, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. IMO, the 40 is the way to go if you want a V8-like sound.

    But until then, I like my quiet truck.

    And no, a Flowmaster on a 3.4 does not sound like a v8..at all. It sounds like a 3.4 v6

    Has anybody here ever looked at the spintech mufflers? They sound pretty nice, at least on the 4.0.

    His sounds much better than the magna flow, IMHO, deeper, less mushed together sound that many relate to rice.
