Local brewery FTW!! You're right, not bad at all. FYI, NODA is short for "NOrth DAvidson street which is where the brewery is located and is the center of a small arts and entertainment district in Charlotte.

NODA is pretty good, Hop Drop and Roll was the only thing I cared for there though.

Hop Drop and Roll is pretty good. Cavu is decent too. Noda's not my favorite though. If we're talking Charlotte beers, I'm a little more partial to Old Meck's Copper, or Triple C's Babymaker IPA.

(My girlfriend lives in South End and we hit up breweries a lot when I'm in town. haha)

I've tried 3 different sour beers, and I can't do it. lol they're horrible IMO. :puke:

There are few I like.. This is the top one for me. Bought 12 for an early anniversary present with the wife. We will drink 1 a month on a date night. The down fall to this beer is the price.

Never had it. I honestly don't even remember the names of the ones I've had though. haha the first time I had one really caught me by surprise because I didn't know it was a sour beer. It was quite the experience lol

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
 In RR's defense the freshest pliny i had was about 2 weeks old and travled across the county, probably in warmer temparatures that it should ever see. But alpine nelson, holy crap that is a amazing west coast beer. They were just bought out by green flash today. We will see if that is a good or bad thing. If they can keep the quality up and increase distro that would be awesome.

Yeah I've had a few really good ones like I said and some that are so tart they take the salvia out of your mouth. Not a big fan of the tart ones

Found a 4-pack of 2011 North Coast Old Stock Ale today. Also got another BA Narwhal and a BA Old Raspy and Big Bad Baptist #31. Drinking one of the old stocks now, I love this stuff with a few years on it!

Looking forward to Abyss, only one ive had was a 2010 bottle aged for 3.5 years and it was fantastic. One of the best non 100% barrel aged stouts ive had i think, still wish i could taste it before they blend it with the non BA beer tho!

Venturing outside of CO tonight. Not bad, it's different than the normal IPAs I drink but in a good way.
