if u have a drill and skill saw and tape measure u can make this for $60, im in the process of making one like this with head and foot board thats a queen size, i have about $100 in materials and i sold it for $425, takes about 10-12 hours start to finish (minus dry time on stain, and would also recomend a palm sander if ur not selling "unfinished funiture") i also have very little carpentry skills but this is pretty easy if u can cut kinda straight

 

What about gormet flavored frozen Pops. Friend of a friend in ATL did this and is now worth millions. You could sell them on the University lawn, maybe even try to sell them to local business.
