    Okay so from the start.

Bought my truck in 2012. They tried to sale me the Toyota maintenance plan oil changes and rotations for 95k miles for $1500. I didn't want it I can do my own oil changes so then he proceeded to try to sell me a "maitnence plus" plan it was $3000 and I was told it would cover all oil changes, rotations and all major scheduled maintenance for 95k miles. I had the finance guy pull a list of all the covered items and this was clearly a good deal so I signed on it.

I moved last year and we lost a lot of paper work. Part of this paper work was all of my warenty info and apaperwork from when I signed on the truck.

Now when all my troubles started. I went in for my 35k oil change and they recommended a power steering flush and diff. Service. I asked if both of these would be taken care of in a future scheduled maitnence and was told yes. So I asked if I waited (since I had the maitnence plan) if I did not follow there recommendations if it would void any warentys. And was told no. After this I asked when it would be taken care of with the scedualed maintenance and explained to then I had bought the plan covering this.

Fast forward two hours later of talking and truely being treated like crap with my pregnant wife waiting In the waiting room. This is the explanation I was given.

The dealer had been bought out. Was previously Jim mccnatt and is now toyota of Denton. They told me they had no records of me buying the plan and it only shows I bought the regular maitnence plan. They could not explain to me why I paid $3000 for a $1500 plan. And said with out me providing proof with paper work they would not honor any plan Jim mccnatt sold me. During g all this they refused to let me talk to the service manager I asked two different times while there and the first time they brought the financial manager, second they took me to the service managers office and I found out at the end of all this I was talking to his secretary. She said he would call me back he never did. I have left 3 messages over the last month and was told he would call back and I never gear back. I have his direct line and still can not get in touch with him and no one else is Willing to day anything other then I need to talk to him...

What do I need to do? I have never been in a situation like this I am not wanting anything other then what I was told I was paying for. Either I paid for something I was completely miss led on or they just dont want to honor a deal they bought out when buyi g the dealership....

    HELP...

You can try calling Toyota, but you really need proof. Look at it from their perspective. Anyone of us could call and say we had a service plan paid for, but don't have any paperwork to back it up.

These are the problems with buying dealership specific packages. If they go under, the next owner may not be liable for business done prior.

If you can find your paperwork, the dealership may honor the work. It depends on the fine print in the contract and local state laws. If they don't honor it, you may be able to sue the originail owner, again it depends on the agreement.
