TRD Supercharge kit

I run the Volant CAI with the little ram scoop thing. It's not terribly loud but it is a noticible gain over stock. With the Donaldson dry filter on there it's super low maintance and once of the best filters on the market. In my opinion the Volant/Powercore dry filter is the best CAI/filter combination on the market and is very hard to beat.

I'm not sure if the ram scoop does anything but it is pretty cool lol.

 

I like the fact I don't have to plug into a laptop to see the data logging. it can save it and replay it for you. Pretty much bolt on affair. Power goes straight to cig lighter, depending on your setup either single or dual sensor. I wanted dual so I can see both banks of the engine. You can set to see both banks together as one also, it average it out. Comes with all the stuff you need. O2 sensor, bung, long wiring, etc...

AEM makes good stuff so I'm not knocking on them either, I just wanted a dual setup which they don't have. Innovative makes a dual setup but the display isn't that great compared to the FAST version.

Is it Eaton or Magnusson?

 

it's both. The company is Magnusson aka Maggie. Eaton is the rotor in the blower.

 

Perfect, that's what I thought. Wife still hasn't ridden with me. She'll probably hate the noise, but I don't care.

I like information like that. It appeals to the engineer in me. Adiabatic...memories of thermodynamics.

 

I plan to mount it where you plan to mount it.... that's if I had a 4x4 truck with that switch

Well for me I don't have a switch so it's good place for me. They do have a window suction setup, put it in the upper left corner above the dash. You can unplug it from the truck and hide it when you're not in the truck. Or mount it above or next to the rear view mirror. Just throwing some ideas around.

Really? Why? I have no knowledge or opinion.

 

I thought it was semi ok for Supercharged trucks? but N/A trucks were showing like almost no gain?

LOL nothing wrong running the AEM setup, you already paid for it

I read from some of the guys that had the bully dog. For some reason the maps they send you for your setup seems to disapper after awhile. One guy had to send it back to them and redo the maps. In the end he got rid of it and just went with a MAF calibrator instead. Less then ideal but less hassle compared to the Bully dog tuner. I was tempted to get one back then, then I read the stories of only getting 10-15 hp NA at cost of $800 then $900 since Bully Dog didn't want the vendors to discount their products I'll pass since it's not proven yet.
