Yeah it's got a hint of rust after the thunder storm in MOAB. I've got a silver powder coat I'm coating the box with that will match the truck.

Awesome build, hope my fab skills are half as good as this some day.

Couple question for you if you don't mind... What kind/thickness did you use for the center beam/reciever?

I noticed in your first lay out the center beam/tounge stuck way out but then you chopped it off right after the angled braces, any reason for this?

Then later you re-attached the tounge with brace and bolts, why? Did you sleeve this inside and then rosette weld the two ends and sleeve together? Just trying to figure out why you cut the tounge off, other than to save room/space.

Also, last question I swear.... It looks like your center beam was slightly smaller than your outside, then you welded brace/patch panels to connect/brace the outside beams and center beam? Any particular reason?

I hope to get to see this trailer in person some day. Thanks for the time man and awesome truck and build.

Thanks I'm really loving the trailer.

What kind/thickness did you use for the center beam/reciever? its 2.5x2.5x.250 wall its receiver tube.

I noticed in your first lay out the center beam/tounge stuck way out but then you chopped it off right after the angled braces, any reason for this?

Then later you re-attached the tounge with brace and bolts, why? Did you sleeve this inside and then rosette weld the two ends and sleeve together? Just trying to figure out why you cut the tounge off, other than to save room/space. its not sleeved its bolted on so that I can mess with tongue lengths to change how it tows. I like the way it is now so its staying like that. And its for swinging the tongue out of the way for storage

Also, last question I swear.... It looks like your center beam was slightly smaller than your outside, then you welded brace/patch panels to connect/brace the outside beams and center beam? Any particular reason? yes I made the main frame from 2x3x.120 wall so I added little squares of. 250 plate so it fit flush with the receiver tube that is 2.5"

I hope to get to see this trailer in person some day. Thanks for the time man and awesome truck and build.

Its been sitting at my house since after the fourth of July. I just finally put it away last week its been out back rusting up  I have one more camping trip this year with it. Then its going back to the shop to be torn apart for powder coat and the few other things I want to add to it before its coated.

Not much of an update but I just got my 82q ARB Fridge 3 sets of 500lb drawer slides and lot of other little things for the trailer. It's coming back to the shop in a month or so to get finished up!

That really depends on the crowd I'm camping with. If it was me the wife and kid at least 2 weeks. If it was the guys a long weekend and I would have to have my 50q as well just so we have enough room for beer!
