    Hmm, interesting.

I don't know exactly what your plans are for this truck. But if the end game is to be able to wheel with it, then I'd do all armor first. Wish I would have done that with my truck.

i 33's but its at the end of the day for my use its a penis enhancer and I would take 32's in the future for cost benefits, unless a deal presented itself.

I have a long time before I decide whether to LT or SAS mine. Want to keep it street legal either way.
Nobody NEEDS larger tires. But I want them.

Ah. Since you dont exactly have a build thread its hard to remember when reading through everyone elses.

Yes i want to wheel/dd when needed. But armor means i also need springs/leafs for the weight.
I was looking at the 255/85 thread. I like pizza cutter style. A lot of people were saying alight rub in reverse/lock but not much else. Granted i only read like ten pages

Yup, I'm perfectly fine with admitting that I'll be in very few situations that 35's would make enough of a difference over 33's. But it just looks so much better! Haha

Why's that? I hope I do some day... I have a feeling after re-gear and maintenance next year, that it's going to stay how it currently is for a while....

I want to build mine just for me. I want it to look and perform a certain way. Nothing super extravagant. But who knows i may get into wheeling more.

What do you mean for that rail specifically?

What does the Rubicon require that other trails wouldn't benefit from?
If you ever move out of this area, you'll enjoy it more. This place sucks for wheeling...

    That's how I feel haha

I guess it's kind of a fine line and depends on what you're doing with the truck. I know there are some trails around here where you will not get far without at least 37s. So in that case, you would need larger tires, hypothetically

    My point exactly.

And that's why I don't plan on ever moving back to Texas. New Mexico spoiled me. It's completely different exploring a trail that requires some off road capability versus going to an off road park. Just doesn't have that same feeling.
You get my point though. We can all say what we think is the right size tire. But it really comes down to your own preference, style, and what you plan to take it out on.

Ah, sounds like stuff I'd personally want anyways. But I understand you're all for keeping it minimalist.

    Understandable.

Really the only things I need to keep doing what trails I've done so far is some skids. But, I like the idea of having more so that if I am in a situation where it's more challenging that what I normally do, I have the gear I need to get it done.

    Oh shutup

You where damn near pissing your pants on this trail. You were freaking out on an almost lisa level. You would have loved bigger tires and more armor, you admitted it.

Vs me where I just point it and roll over whatever the fuck I want.

    Worth it.

And you know they are worth it for harder trails.

Now, in your case, totally agree. You do not need 33s. Most people don't. And definitely most do not need 35s.

Also, I'm sure the test went fine

    But you're still a bitch :D

How many miles are you going to be putting on it once it's not your only vehicle though?
