    Elevation matters ALOT. My truck was a rocketship down in TX... I have found that there is a certain point where the cold air is good, but has diminishing returns as anything below freezing point it seems that other things in the drivetrain don't care to move as free.

    Yup.


    Had a friend with a mid/low 11 second car in Denver....he drove it out to California and cut consistent 10.7-10.8's on his 1st runs a lot closer to sea level. I have a lot of respect for tuners who can extract decent numbers from high elevation areas.

    :pout: I've only been in one boosted vehicle ever (minus the occassional diesel but they never got on it). It was my friends 2nd gen Taco running stock intake, DTLT headers, a custom y-pipe and I don't remember what cat-back. Anyway I wasn't super impressed with it compared to what mine feels like with 4.88's and I am a lot heavier than him too...

    Although I have no doubt that throwing a URD pulley on there would make it feel so much better!

    I was just looking into this and I figure my power (at the wheels) to weight ratio is about 1:35...

    I'll bet Brock's is around 1:15. I don't even want to think about what yours is! haha

    8.15 lbs per horsepower & 7.05 lbs per ft/lb Tq

    My math is backwards. That was at 475 and 549 though. Need to get power up and weight down.

    I figure about 35.3 lbs per HP... Guessing about 170 HP at the wheels at my elevation (that may be a bit generous...) and 6000 lbs.

    I guessed Brock at 300 HP and 4400 lbs. Wouldn't surprise me if he was closer to 330 HP and 4100 lbs:eek:

    I got in touch with coupe about one.... But I went with the a pillar pod, and still have a spot where the 4wd switch is for some of u
