Best way to fit 33s

    Ok i have a baja seems like there would be anuff room to fit 285 or 255s with out much work. What's the best way to go?

    Oh and 255/85 will give you a full 33in tire without having to trim as much.

    Now I have read where people have ran 255 on stock ride hight.

    i wouldn't ever call a spacer the best way to lift a vehicle. cheapest... sure, but not best.

    Blow it through the roof
    to fit 33's and be able to 4 wheel you would need ~4" lift and wheel spacers otherwise you have a lot of trimming to do. Course if you aint planning on off roading than its easy, a small spacer lift, but that wont get you off the rocks

    Not actually. I'm lifted on billies and stock coils and I can tuck my 33s all the way with no trimming.

    Bilstein 5100's set at .85, OME 885x coils w/ 1/2" top plate spacers, Total Chaos UCA's, Wheelers 1.5" HD 3 leaf progressive AAL w/ factory overload leaf, DT Pipe Bomb Ypipe, Vibrant resonator, Magnaflow pro series catback system, URD Short Throw Shift Kit, Debadged, BHLM, BTLM, 6000K BiXenon Headlights & Fogs.
    Do 5100's on 2.5 stock coils and a 3 leaf progressive 1.5" Add a leaf kit in the rear. Get a good alignment afterward. I got this on 208/70/17's (33's) driving 35,000 miles a year on and off road. rides great and economical. Dont waste money on spacers.

    255/85/ 16 (255/80/17) on stock wheels might work with no extra lift or trim on a baja. Wheel spacers will make them hit the fender at flex, so trim would be needed. 285s will likely require aftermarket wheels and trimming. I'm in a similar position and have been combing the site and asking questions about going this route. I'm going to 255s in the spring when I take off my winter wheels, so I don't have real world experience yet FWIW.

    Not a big fan of spacers I am just worried about rubbing and wanting it done right. Just wanting to see what other people have done.
