    Second Gen has only 1 for the transmission. Our 4x4 control is a rotary knob on the dash.

    So he will have 4 sticks if done right.

    Oh that's right, forgot about the knob. Was thinking some had the shifter like the 4runners. That's going to be sweet!

    Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
    Yup...it's a nice setup with the FJ case but you loose all but one cup holder...which I can't do.

    The setup I want one has one extra stick that can go just to the left of the shifter leaving all cup holders and a very clean look IMO.

    u saw mine. thats how mine is setup. and i only lost one cup holder so its not that big of a deal. not like the truck doesnt have 8 more

    The triple stick conversion is a kit I purchased from Dave'z off-road.
    I have the Hurst/core short shifter assembly which allows me to easily change the location of the transmission shift stick.
    I have a twin stick short shifter installed on the FJ case from NWIFab.
    My goal is to have all four sticks coming up through the stock location, it will have to be made wider, however in theory it should allow me to retain the stock center console cup holder area. As far as I know, no one's done it yet.
    I probably would have had this installed already however I ran into some issues in the fall with a broken front diff mount that hurt my mod budget:eek:
