haha yep. My fiancee doesn't mind the small stuff, but when I told her about converting mine to 4wd, she wasn't too thrilled. I'm just buying the parts one by one, so I'm just slowly accumulating the parts and am gonna do it one day and she'll never even know until it's too late lol

    well, he called it

Dude, I'm with you there. My fiancee and I live with her parents and are going to until I graduate next month. It's gonna suck when I've got to start paying bills. Right now, all I pay for is food, gas, and her engagement ring payment

Fortunately my wife loves 4x4's so I usually get approval for Taco mods. She has yet to complain. Of course she claimed my 1972 FJ55 Landcruiser since I have the Taco. lol

yep. $118 a month on something I do not understand lol. My truck payment was $208 a month, but at least I got to enjoy it! I guess the fringe benefits that come with the ring are worth it

Got done with my first GVT arms and shoulders workout. I've noticed that 90% of the workouts I find online never have anything geared towards traps, specifically, so I always have to throw in my own shrugging exercise in there at the end. This one definitely wasn't as bad as legs, chest or, back. I start back over tomorrow with chest/back. I like this one because I still get to do each muscle twice a week (kinda); it rotates out, like so:

    Week 1:

    chest/back
    legs/abs
    arms/shoulders
    chest/back

    Week 2:

    legs/abs
    arms/shoulders
    chest/back
    legs/abs

    Week 3:

    arms/shoulders
    chest/back
    legs/abs
    arms/shoulders

    Week 4:

    start week 1 over

    Anyway, here's today's workout:

triceps rope pulldowns: 10 sets of 10 @ 170 lbs
seated incline hammer curls: 10 sets of 10 w/ 25 lb dumbbells
incline reverse flys: 3 sets of 12 w/ 25 lb dumbbells
side lat raises: 3 sets of 12 w/ 20 lb dumbbells
    barbell shrugs: 3 sets of 15 @ 315 lbs (1 sec pause @ top)

Because shrugging is basically worthless... Try back shoulder rows or upright rows.

Anyone else follow hookgrip on Facebook? If not, I highly suggest it. They've been posting clips from the WWC the past couple days.

Always fun to see someone C&J 529lbs

I do a number of different trap workouts, both of those included. I just do one trap exercise after every shoulder day. Shrugs work wonders for me. Doing them slow and pausing at the top is key for me. Just going fast does nothing.
