So, I took off my TRD beadlocks, the stock Sport wheels w/ winter sneakers went back on today, took off my Matt123 skidplate too..... I hate the look for my truck, factory with an OME lift. Jesus I hope its a short winter :( On a brighter note, I haven't received an inkling of an objection from my girlfriend on me getting an armour (OZ-T verified) bumper, I hinted at me wanting one, her response was to ask her father to pick it up in the US and bring it back!

At least you still look better than a stock 5-lugger! Winter tires were the perfect excuse for me put on a set of of bigger LT tires with a set of cheap kijiji alloys

It's snowing in the valley and out by the airport, I'm at work and there's not a lick of snow to be found.

4WD snow drifts are fun though, might as well start calling me Ken Block.

I had a headlight go out the other day so I bought some fancy bulbs, they're Sylvainna(or whatever). Dad runs them in his Tundra and they make a massive difference, half it might be because I had a light out but damn. Worth the 70 bucks lol. I guess we'll see how long they last though!

Hate to be a post whore, but here's a picture in the difference. The right one is stock and the left is the fancy bulb.

I had those in my 2007 until I did a retrofit. Had great luck with them, but the lifespan left a bit to be desired.

Do the retrofit! I was pleased with mine once I had the bugs worked out. Might do another for my 2015 next summer. Screw swapping out headlights in the winter!

Also, thanks! Haven't been home much the last year, looking forward to it. family/friends, and driving my poor neglected Si haha.

I want to do a retrofit too, I want to get other stuff done before I start with stuff like headlights.
Dads truck is American and his DRL's were his headlights, he usually got 9-10 months out of them before he put fog lights in and ran them as DRL's. So we'll see how long they last! Considering when I opened the package the fucking thing blew apart and I dropped them both on the ground.. Note to self; look for tap on the edges.

Ha, my brothers Tacoma is American and has the DRL done the same way. He was chewing through Silverstars like every 3-6 months. At $70 a pop, that's hard to swallow as a student. Think he's back on the $6.99 MotoMasters hahaha.

I think we're going to try and get a proper Canadian DRL setup in there for him this spring.
