Chips are more of a diesel thing rather than something that works well on gas trucks. Even then almost even guy I know around here who has chipped his diesel has lived to regret in the long term.

:rolleyes:So I drove my Taco out of town yesterday and the steering shakes at 55 Not bad but noticeable and quite annoying and it gets worse when you hit the breaks going down hill.. I think the Rotor could be warped.. :( Im going to make sure I dont have a bent rim, imbalanced tire before I check out the Rotor I might just need it resurfaced...oh the joys of used car buying....

Yup. I only say regret because I know a lot of guys who have blown up a diesel in under 100 K with a chip. The really moderate tuning chips seem to hold up well, but those dial a power chips seem to get stuck on "high" due to operator error which results in spilt milk.

Good luck fixing your front end vibes. Just be glad you don't have rear end vibes, some TW members have gone nuts trying to fix those. Warped rotors just means more quality time fixing your Taco ;).

Really don't wanna say we told you so... but we told you so.
When I was 16, my father didn't know anything, he was really dumb.
When I was 30, I was amazed at how much he had learned since I was 16.

most likely the rotor is warped. unless you can get rotor resurface for free. i would invest in new rotors & brake pads instead.
