Hello all. sending in some interior parts to be hydrodipped but am stuck on removing the rear-door window-switch surrounds (double cab).

I've already removed the front surrounds which simply pried out, then actually removed the entire front door panels to remove the tweeter rings, but these rear bezels seem awfully tight and concerned about breaking the plastic.

Should I remove the entire panel here as well?

    Any and all input appreciated:D

Did you remove the screw in the middle under the tab?

No, I have not. I didn't even see that screw there until just now when you mentioned it and I removed the pennies my wonderful child had stacked in there covering it, lol.

    Will that do the trick?

I am sorry I was thinking about the door open handle surround when I posted. Let me look at the service manual and I'll post back.

The service manual says to pry it from the front of the bezel not the rear. The rear has hooks.

REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    (a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws ( the claws are in the front of the switch assembly ), then pull out the rear power window regulator switch assembly by pulling it toward the front of the vehicle.

    (b) Disconnect the connector, then remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly.

I hope this helps. Sorry about the misinformation earlier.

Thanks Jimmy. I ended up just removing the entire rear door panel, which was fairly easy, then removed it after unplugging the harness as you mentioned.
Funny thing is, unlike the front door switch surround, in order to remove the rear switch surround to send in for hydrodipping as I'm planning, I actually had to disassemble the entire switch thus rendering me without control of the rear windows.
Reason being the surround actually HOUSES the pieces for the rear switches, which had to be fully disassembled and contained many smaller pieces than I'd imagined.
Oh well, can do without rear window control for awhile now that it's getting cold out:(
    Thanks again Jimmy!
