The only issue I have is that most of my friends will be doing family stuff since its thxgiving weekend. Usually have to stop and see people on the way up when they are free.

No boss tonight. Not sure about the fluffer.

 

Then you have a difficult decision, which only you can make. I'm sure grams will make breakfast for you whichever morning you're there.

That's usually a good thing.

My load plans are complete. My forecast through the weekend is complete. I fixed everyone else's cargo descrepancies ... 5.5 hours 'til end of shift; 3.5 hours 'til site weather checks.

As for what a fluffer is... well... let's just say it has something to do with the porn industry

I'm piddlin between the garage and upstairs. So much to do before my trip.
Still have factory studs in my OME suspension to install, recyclers, pack, mail, bills, blah, blah blah.
my biggest issue is my cwp hasn't come in the mail and if it doesn't arrive by thur, i'll be traveling with out. nc, tn, ky, oh and in. Not what I wanted.

 

Yeah, I forgot your schedule ... must have lost it somewhere around July. What are your normal days off, Friday and Saturday nights?

Sunday nite-thurs nite. 11pm-7am.

Most likely come home thur morning and grab some shut eye, leave about 11pm fri night.
I did the "get off work after 8 hrs and try and drive another 12 hrs" a few times in my younger days. Might have one of those left in me and saving it for my CHRISTmas trip.
So much to do, so many people to visit, so little time.

 

Always the way it works out ... almost need a vacation to recover from vacation when you get back.

Or during fishing and hunting season up here ... we always say we need to go back to work to recover from fishing/hunting trips.

 

Nope, not on weekend rotation yet. They're not sure if they want 3rd shift on the weekends yet. TBD after the new year (budget).

 

I'm off Sun/Mon nights, and every other Sat; eight 9 hr shifts & one 8 hr shift every two week pay period. The one Sat night shift gets 25% Sunday premium added. Night shift in general gets 10% shift diff premium.

 

Sun.-Thursday. 10:45-7:15am. We get $2.44/hr for third and another $2.44/hr for weekends (Fri. nite and Sat. nite).
