    Just curious....

Say for instance, I reply to a thread (for the first time) at post #20 - and I've already read all the other posts #1-19.

I'm getting e-mail notificaitons for posts I've already read and prior to the #20 that I replied.

I guess I was under the assumption that If I made a post at #20, that I'd get e-mail notifications for everything after that #21 + and so forth.

Just curious if there's something I don't have setup properly or if it's just the system is 'slower' at that kinda stuff?

    Thanks for the input.

that is how it should be working. you mean you're getting emails right away for all posts prior to the one you made?

Yeah...atleast without looking at it too closely. Let me look at things differently in terms of times/posts/e-mails etc and see if I discover anything.

    I'm on a mission :D

I almost embarrassed to admit ....but I think the forum is working just fine.

I think I'm reading the threads/forums before I see the email notifications - which appears like they're coming 'after' the fact. When in reality....
the e-mail notifications are probably en-route to my box as I read all the replies.

I really don't like the e-mail notifications. Is there a way to turn it all off?
