New here, awesome forum btw! So, I have an 06' tacoma 4x4 D cab( not trd). Dealer is replacing the frame. They recommend replacing leafs, shocks, shock pins. I found that bilstein 5100's seem to be popular, so Im probably ordering those through autoanything (unless someone knows a better/cheaper place?;) My question: I am not really looking for a lift as I cant afford bigger wheels etc.at this time. I was trying to find replacements less costly than from the dealer that might suffice. However; all the ones i am seeing include a 2-3" lift??? Can I get some without much of a lift at all? I am assuming the new shocks will already take care of a little lift within itself? Thank a bunch for any help offered!

Those shocks, the bilstein 5100's, have various settings. If you don't want any lift you can leave the clip on the lowest setting and it will keep you at stock height. Its adjustable, so you can add .85", 1.75" or 2.5" later if you'd like.

Thank guys! eccracer104 ....Do you know if the shocks normally come with "Shock pins"? it was suggested from dealer, but i'm not sure if that is a separate thing that is usually purchased separately? Thanks again

I'm assuming by "shock pin" the dealer meant shock bolt? If so I do not believe those are included with the shocks. You'd want to order new ones from the dealer.
