here is mine, the box isnt too tall so u can use it as an arm rest, and if u need to get into the storage compartment u just slide it over. It actually covers that plastic as well, i just had it slid over when i took tha pic.

Elite Audio Solutions in Colorado Springs. Check out there website they do alot of great work. You cant see it but they used the stock mounting holes for the center console and factory sub so it is solid as a rock in there. They build stuff and ship it too all they need is a truck to use as a template. It has 2 W310s in it just in case you were wondering.
what did something like this cost

I've finally decided to start the research and upgrade the stereo.

It looks like people with access cabs get sorta screwed with where to put a sub.

I'm not looking for crazy bass.. just a nice sounding system. I don't need to push my music on the neighborhood.

Was looking at the Sound ordnance slim guy.. but 40 htz.. is that even low enough?

The other thing i'm thinking of is since i dont want much but do want a sub, and I carry odd shaped items in the back so I don't like the center console idea. I'm surprised nobody on here has done this.... remove the entire plastic storage area, saw it in half, and then use basically one side of the storage bin to create a sub. I havent looked to see how much space is under there, and I know nothing of building sub enclosures, I know its tight but would be a sweet indiscreet sub.

Thoughts? Suggestions for a hidden small sub?

I see that someone else finally had the idea i did 2 years ago with putting the subs under the seat. Its not the cheapest option but i got 2 8's in there and it is plenty for these trucks.

the seat closes i usually have it closed so if people look in they cant see the subs. the only think is when its closed if you dont raise the seat mounts a little it rattles.

I had it made, i came up with the idea and took it in to get it done, i wouldnt mess with that stuff myself. If they had premade boxes i might have bought one but noone makes them for our trucks
