    No I said they will be stiffer once installed. You do realize all springs are progressive, some more then others.

    All springs get stiffer the more you compress them. Linear ramp up a constant rate and progressive ramp up faster.

    Maybe you missed what I was saying earlier, the longer springs will be stiffer when installed. I never said they don't start with the same spring rate.

    Oz knows what you meant and meant what he said. haha

    While it is a good idea to point out that longer springs may have to be compressed to fit them on shocks causing preload right away, this is not always the case and is so variable from shock to shock and such that it is something separate from actual spring rate.

    Oz said that 885's and 887's have the same spring rate and the amount of preload they will have on a set of 5100's or OME C/O's has nothing to do with that rated spring rate of which Oz said nothing about.

    So basically you are both right about what you said.
