    I fully agree
The fact that everyone has tacos means the idiots outnumber the respectful, combined with the infant wheeling scene here, it makes for guys with shitty trucks throwing heinekens out the window screaming "RAMBLAHHHHH"

The trails to certain beaches on the big island are getting messed up pretty bad from both people that don't know how to wheel, and tourists who dont know how to wheel but rented a jeep anyway

It sucks going out to K-Point and seeing shattered bottle glasses everywhere. It's pretty sad.

its a 2 way thing here for me…I would like to see it regulated, but you only know theres gonna have locals claiming were screwing up their gathering rights/the way they live/how they've done it for years, but the ironic part is they're not the ones caring for the place. Had many different organizations doing that…nakolo4x4 did, oahu jeepers have done it several or more times in the past…but of course the bad outweighs the good.

its sad, I grew up doing beach clean ups and was raised to take care of our resources. Im real bad at it now a days, but I should better incorporate it into my life style.

what really bums me out is people who make the decisions but have no idea how meaningful it is to us. This goes for development and the things that happen to our land and ocean

Before I left Hilo I used to go fishing at a spot in Kapoho a lot. My freinds and I always cleaned the area better than it was when we got there. The same group of people that was caught raping Waimanalo of illegal fish were the one's that would just throw alll there shit on the ground there. I wonder if they do that to the beaches where they are from? We couldn't say anything because the 20 of them would prob stone us with lava rocks lol. Now, my freind says it sucks to go fishing at our spot there because of all of the litter. Some people just weren't raised and taught like we were.

Yeah they probably scheduled meetings and posted the times and locations in some obscure corner of the Internet. That's how it works when they want to push something through nice and quiet.

It's just like the super ferry and the GMO ban; all those people who move here to retire and try to change everything to their liking. They have absolutely nothing to do with their free time, so a few retirees can make more stink than twenty of us can make good!

leftovers from the hippy generation need to stay relevant

so they will complain and complain that the world needs to change to their liking, but will also ironically complain and complain about anything new

    GMOs
    ugh
that argument will get me so butthurt my pants will be bloody

I don't like it when anyone tries to have it their way at the expense of someone else. If you can get what you want without disturbing others, then go for it; no harm no foul. The Ramblers are just as guilty as the hippies when it comes to Keana. I bet that flipped Ram didn't help things either..

The people complaining prob never go near Kaena Point or the beach for that matter. They're lawyers/doctors/politicians living in high-rise suites in town trying to figure out where they can build a new mall, Starbucks or High-Rise luxury condo to rape from the masses. It's the rich people with the power and control... They don't know the first thing about nature and the great outdoors except for what they see on Nat Geo and let alone a truck/off-road vehicle... Their philosophy is the world needs to be contained because they are in a better position to determine what's good for everyone..
