what is the mountain dew can for? Is this a mod that I need to do? Does this give you more travel????? I gotta know dude!!!!

Im currently in Wyoming so it is really cold but...

So I had to jump my truck yesterday to get it going. Had to jump again today but now my ABS and Brake lights stay lit up on the dash. Any ideas what could be causing this problem?

Fuses are all good. I haven't checked all of the sensors at the wheels

If its worth anything the battery was so dead I didn't even get lights inside the cab

 

That's not good.
I have seen this before.
Don't bother checking anything untill you get it scanned. Nothing was wrong
before.
You checked all your fuses you said including your mega fuses ???
Get it a dealer for a full systems scan.
I hope you didn't spike your abs ecu.
You should never jump start these trucks with completely dead batteries.
Charge the battery first. The systems can't take the voltage spikes as the battery acts as a buffer.

Thanks for the info. I checked the 2 giant alternator ones and both ignition ones inside the cab. I also checked the brake fluid level and it is well above the min line.

I have seen some of your post in other threads and I am already planing on heading to the dealer tomorrow.

I can only speak from my dealings.
Jump starting a vehicle and blowing a ecu.
Nope...... Wasn't covered.

Don't tel them you jumped it....

 

Let them check it before you worry to much.
I have also seen codes set from jump starting. All I had to do was clear and reset some ecu's.

 

Others have tried and failed...........
