Gum on my Seat

I went to a blink 182 /weezer concert last night, was awesome btw, and while sitting on the lawn I guess I must of sat in someone's gum they spit out. I look this morning and i've got some gum smeared into the netting-like part of my 09 trd sport seats. Anyone have any advice on getting this out? I might just pick for hours at it with some tweezers or something. Thanks for the help

 

Try rubbing an ice cube on it for a bit and then roll the gum right off.

I've heard using ice to harden it then try to pick it apart.

put some ice in a bag the object is to get the gum as cold as possible

You might try a can of air that's used for cleaning off key boards or dry ice.

well i gently picked off as much as I could with some tweezers without pulling threads from the fabric. I'd use ice for a min. and then picked off , repeat. Then, iced it one last time and rubbed it in circular motion with a towel and it appears to be all gone. Yet im afraid it's still there though most likely and over time the dirt will accumulate and leave a darker spot there. I'm gonna get some wet okole seat covers anways, just waiting to see if the group buy in october will materialize. Thanks for the tips guys. Aint no biggie, it can't stay new forever.
