I lived in Germany for several years where University is "free". "Free" as in the government steals money from taxpayers and gives it to the student in the form of a loan, and they don't have to pay it back until 10 years after graduation. Seems like a handy solution, until you factor in 53% income taxes and 19% sales tax... free indeed.

? The German schools are shite. Even US schools refuse to recognize German degrees. Might as well go print out a fake degree from a diploma mill.

I'm assuming you get a hell of a lot more social services for that tax money like healthcare/childcare/housing whatever else. I did a quick Google and it said that income taxes in Germany ranges from 0% to 45%

I've never heard that about Germany schools. Could you post a source for that I'm genuinely curious

German doctors are no worse than US doctors, except they have the sense to make it a 5-year undergrad program...

The US does not recognize foreign degrees because too many people from other countries were filling jobs americans did not want to fill because it took to long to get qualifications. ;) :cookiemonster:

Sure, you get free healthcare. Call the doc, and wait 6-8 months and it's free! (mostly, specialized care still costs and most pay for private insurance anyway) There is a reason there are so many European students in our schools, and so many Euro patients come here for treatment. I have no supporting documents for my claims, just personal experience. Maybe google doesn't factor in state and local taxes or something?

No doubt. Go to Tijuanna and you'll see white guys lined up for medical/dental care. The grass is always greener on the other side. I just know I don't like European grass at all. I like freedom grass just fine thank you. ;)

To save weight, same goes for the intake manifold. Hey at least it has a 4-bolt main and using CGI aka Compacted Graphite Iron on the block which only time I've seen it is on race engines and diesels. Only time will tell if the rest of the engine is good.

^This. Can't trust a steel oilpan to provide protection off-road anyway (that's why a skid plate is needed).

I imagine there's a metal threaded boss for the drain plug?

I understand the weight savings, great idea, but the oil pan is way to exposed unless they have a metal skid underneath, but then they might as well make a metal pan with no skid.
I do like the specs though, I hope they changed the oil drain setup on the iceboats though, was kind of a pain to have to clean the skids, funnel thingie, and the foam piece they have on the skid.
The new guys would always forget to clean them well and several customers complained of dripping oil.
