I'm not a big fan of the inferno color, but that white pro looks pretty sharp.

White was my first choice, but I couldn't locate one in the configuration that I wanted. I didn't think I would like it either, but it has grown on me! Seeing it in person is better!

I agree. I saw the white TRD Pro in person and like it but saw the 4Runner TRD Pro in person and fell in love with it. Puts the Tacoma to shame IMO

I was wondering if they did anything different with it since it has a couple inches of lift. A lot of the 2-3" lift options recommend dropping the carrier bearing with a 1/4" shim. It does not look like Toyota did anything different on the Pro though.

The important thing is you got what YOU wanted. People making those comments just can't understand that for some reason.

    Nice Truck!

Yes. Well I pick it it up this week! This is my first 4wd and first Tacoma. 48 years old and I feel like a kid at Christmas. I can hardly wait. I got an inferno Access Cab with factory tow.

Only mods planned in the near future is a complete stereo upgrade. But, I'm sure I'll get the bug and go crazy. I love modding.

    OP: Any planned mods?

ah I see... I don't believe the rear is lifted. The larger shocks provide more down travel compared to stock but no lift.

I have not even seen a pro in person yet, my info comes from here...

Make sure to post some pics. I'm torn between the Access and Double cab.

The rear of the Pros uses standard TRD OR package rear springs. The remote res shocks allow for a longer shaft in the same length shock so they gain roughly 1" of travel in the form of additional droop vs the TRD OR.

I ordered a pro today. TRD Pro, White, DCSB, 4x4, V6, 6spMT, factory tow, short shifter, roof rack. Boom! pretty psyched. Now I play the waiting game.

    Cool! Congrats!

I guess ordering is the only way to get them. They are in demand for sure. My son just ordered up a black Pro with a similar config. They told him to expect it in Feb or March. I hope it comes quick for both of you.

Or get on a few dealers waiting list...I was #1 on two different dealers lists...waiting for a 4dr Inferno with Tow. Got called from both after a couple of months...turned down a Black one and bought an Inferno one from my local dealers allocation list...being built 12-2 and supposed to be delivered about 12-12. Also, watch the TRD Pro sightings thread as there were quite a few posted up there that folks have bought.....one I posted up from Washington State is on its way to Hawaii! So they can be found, just lots of computer time!
