    Yes, I thought his comments rang true to some of the things we found. But other comments, not so much. The FR-S we drove definitely did not understeer.

    I was surprised to find out the front coils on the BRZ are firmer that the ones on the FR-S. Probably contributes to understeer. I had heard previously that the BRZ's rear suspension was the softer of the two.

    Front OE Spring Rate:

    Subaru BRZ 27 N/mm (153 lbs/in)

    Scion FR-S 23 N/mm (131 lbs/in)

    Rear OE Spring Rate:

    Subaru BRZ 34 N/mm (195 lbs/in)

    Scion FR-S 37 N/mm (211 lbs/in)

    Not all that surprised, I've seen a few threads.

    Yeah, IMO buy new and know what the car has been thru from the beginning.

    I will say tho that I did not follow this rule (my rule) with my truck and it seems to have worked out ok. :cool:
