Met that girl at the gym today. Was supposed to do back/bis, and was gonna try to help coach her up some. Didn't stay at the gym very long. She was done after 1 set of squats and a few other things. Lol. Whatever, I wasn't gonna say no. Then she wanted to go to the bar, so we did. I was strategically wearing a shirt that makes me look a little bigger. It worked. Haha. She says "Your shoulders and pecs...yea...they're on point..." feelsgoodman.jpg

It was a good night. Lol. Didn't get shit done at the gym, unfortunately. I'll have to go back in tomorrow and hit back/bis.

Probably the best compliment I am ever given is when a girl says something is "on point". Not sure why, maybe it seems a little more sincere or something other than "sexy" or some other overused term.

First time I've gotten that one, honestly. Lol. It was different, but yea, I definitely took it.

By the way...I'm still LOVING my light bar. Went on some trails with someone a couple weeks ago who just got a new Tundra. He was like "man...I need to get one of those! You just lit up the damn world!"

Okay back to gym talk!!! But I'm sure we could figure out something to make a bar fit in there clean.

Did legs today... They are an absolute wreck. I am doing the Arnold Blueprint right now on bb.com and the 2x/week legs deal is pretty tough on me. My weak ass joints DO NOT WANT.

Knee sleeves are absolute joint savers.

I can't cross over to the dark side... I feel crazy enough that I am going to get my own belt. And I occasionally need to wear a brace on my elbow. I'm no powerlifter.

As a side note, I did do deadlifts today... after 5 sets of squats. On my final set of deads I got 315 for 5 reps. I'm pretty excited about that. 6'2" 217 lbs. Not beast mode, but I don't feel like I fall into the weakling category anymore.

    this

every man over the age of 50 in my family has knee problems, on both sides of my family
genetically, I'm boned. Knees are already starting to go so I grabbed sbd sleeves last week
learned my lesson about joints with my fucked shoulder. protect dem joints, yo

    perfect timing :D

first leg day with the sleeves and holy shit theyre awesome

    135x5
    185x5
    225x5
    275x2
    295x2
    305x1
    315x1
    315x1
    325x1

previous PR was 305. 305 went up easy. 315 felt great, did a single but was so nervous I didn't get proper depth the first time- hit parallel but didnt go below
so I did another full depth (low bar) below-parallel and it felt fine
threw on some more 5s because why the fuck not and blasted out a 325 single

    PR+20lbs today
scale at the gym had me at 156.5, 325=208% BW :D

WE'RE ALL GONNA MAKE IT GUYS
