A lot of piss poor ball played today, Denver, Seattle, Philadelphia, New England. Holyo fuck, I can't imagine what the colts fans feel like right now. I think their team forgot to show up to the stadium. NE should not have won that game based on first half... They were almost perfect second half though, so good adjustments I guess. Good to battle on the road, against a team undefeated at home vs AFC since 2006, bring on the lions and their shitty ball next week, and get closer to an actual game in Green Bay...

Broncos should bring back Shanahan (joking of course... sort of)
But seriously, the coaches are catching a lot of the flak today in Denver. Hopefully they can pull their heads out of their asses.
While we're at it the Nuggets should bring back George Karl

It was just a fluke loss, but Den is pretty solid overall. The Rams just find ways to win sometimes, they have that kind of grit. I wouldn't overreact to the loss. Denver is still in good shape

While I tend to agree to some degree...

There is some reason for concern. The Rams are built to play just like SF, SEA and ARI. Slow the game down and control the ball with a solid running game and great defense. That is always the formula for beating an air raid offense. Though SF and SEA aren't playing all that great right now ... if I was Denver I would be worried about catching any of these three teams in the SB if they get there .. or teams built like them ie: New England and maybe even K.C. in the AFC playoffs.

Peyton in cold weather playing a team like the ones mentioned above .. not a great formula for success.

The coaches should be catching some flack .. John Fox has been thoroughly out coached in every big game he's even been a part of. Denver coaches are terrible at game planning.

I'd be more worried about Julius Thomas and Sanders than losin to the Rams. The Rams beat good teams. It's just what they've done the last couple years.

It isn't just the Rams. It's Jeff Fisher as well.

When he was in Ten, he had a stout D and Eddie George. They won a bunch cause they ALSO had Steve "Stickin mah dik in the cray-cray" McNair.

Now, he has a stout D and a running game. He had Steven Jackson, beast mode 1.0 really, but never had the complement to take the load off. Steve bounced and the entire offense has languished.

He finds another McNair and watch the hell out. Their D can hold up almost any team in the league, it's the O and ST that are the problem.

Hey Luke - what's the rift between Marshawn and the front office? All I know is what was said on NFLN

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...ch-expresses-frustration-after-loss-to-chiefs

Hey man if Marshawn is unhappy, the 49ers would be glad to have him back in the Bay :D

Better chance seeing Marshawn a Raider than a 49er.

He is a great running back and contrary to what every one has been reading the Seahawks would love to keep him for one more season and honor his contract but they won't be able to. They can only hope to get something in a trade instead of cutting him.

Are you really still picking Denver to get back to the Super Bowl? You do know that, right now, the route to the Super Bowl for the AFC goes right down route 1 in Foxboro right? Losing Julius Thomas is a pretty significant blow, and there's a chance they don't make the playoffs if the Chiefs keep playing well, and the Broncos continue to be soft, let alone get back to the Super Bowl. I say it's NE and GB in the Super Bowl...

He's owed a good chunk of money next year and he's close to the magic 30. The guy is a beast but as we saw against KC his body is wearing down. He was getting worked on the whole game.

His beef is that he thinks the Hawks front office talks to much, as he said. They think he's borderline cancer. It was pretty clear he had aligned himself with Harvin as anti-coach.

He refuses to talk to his coaches .. that's right .. he won't talk to his position coach or the head coach at all. Not sure if this has changed in the last few weeks. This came out around the time Harvin was dealt. A lot of this stemmed from Bevell saying they were going to give Turbin and Michael more carries this year. He said that while Marshawn was holding out during the summer, he immediately backpedaled.

Most fans, myself included, hope they can find a way to re-sign him for another few years. Michael looks like a really talented guy.. he hits hard and has great speed. Eerily similar to Lynch. We'll see. There's no doubt he is the heart and soul of the team. He provides a fire and energy that no one else does.

I agree with GB but I'm really torn in the AFC. I think KC will get beat by a few teams in the playoffs. NE is playing out of their mind right now, logic says they'll come back down to earth. Will Denver get hot again later in the season? I think it's a toss up with NE/Den right now.
