Ok, I searched this and got lots of info but never a specific answer. So before you yell, I figured if state my situation just to get more specific detail.

    2005 Tacoma 4x4
    124k on the odometer

Recently I have noticed a vibration upon acceleration, something similar to having aggressive tires. I noticed once I let off the gas, the sound goes away. So I ruled out my tires. My axels are bad and being replaced soon, just wondering what else (I read about drive shaft bearing) would cause this. My truck just recently qualified for a new frame so I want to get some things done during the frame replacement.

    Any suggestions?

get all your known issues resolved first

and AFTER the frame is replaced, then check for vibes

absolute complete waste of time to troubleshoot this >before a frame swap< and >before you replace known bad axles<, if you in fact are getting a frame swap. frame swap changes everything around

Ok, Frame Swap is supposed to be this month. Waiting on dealership to get it in. They are also swapping out axles when they do this, since they are taking them apart as well. So once that is done, I will check back. Thanks
