Well, after a long search, I found a low mileage 2014 RC 4x4. I was unable to find a brand new one mostly because I wanted an automatic. I found this one relatively close and made a deal that I was very happy with. I got kinda lucky because, since it was used (3200 miles), it already had several things that I'd planned to add. It came with a tow hitch, hard folding bed cover, tailgate lock, and Weathertech floor liners. Here she is...in all her naked glory.
    WP_20141117_001Medium_zps86d7dff1_734c4a9632cf8b5edbe832eb9af375e20f95dea3.jpg

I set aside 5k to get it where I want it to be. The plans are:

OME lift w/ 884s and UCAs
    wheels
    275/70-17 tires
    multi-speed wipers
    cruise control
    color-matched grill
    tint
    LED light bar in grill
    skid plate
    fog lights
    LCE header
    speaker upgrades

I can't wait to get it all done, but it will probably take me about a month since I do all the work myself.
    Let the fun begin!!

Nice. After settling the 884's gave me 2 3/4" of front lift. I'm curious to see what 275's look like on a RC. Any ideas on what wheels you're thinking.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Nice truck! Good find with low miles, low miles like that are just as good as new anyway. They are no longer making regular cabs for 2015+ so you got yourself a gem there, take care of it!

    OME 3" lift MK6 wheels 285 Fierce MTs & 4.88s!!
I'm really struggling with this tire size decision. I just can't figure out if I should run 285s or not. I think 285s would look the best and I'm not sure if I will be happy with 265s. On the other hand, I'm worried about how sluggish the truck will be with the auto and 285s. I don't need gobs of power because I'm used to a 4 door Jeep with 35s, but it has to be reasonable on the highway. 275s are out because I want 16" wheels. 255s are out because I don't care for the skinny look.
