Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

The episode started off with Carol and Daryl following the car and then just getting some rest and picked up that morning. To me, by time Daryl and Noah started heading back to the church it hasn't been 24 hours, not at least until that night fall

 

I don't really need the show to be deep and fervent, I just want to see some damn zombie kills and maybe a few bad guys along the way. Oh well, it is a drama I guess. I'm liking Supernatural more and more now.

 

I have no issues with the flashbacks tying up loose ends in the story

 

^this. While they do happen a little more than i like, I don't mind knowing a backstory

Ok, let's say 24 hours max. That's still a lot of time to not know where someone is in their situation. I mean, they're situated at a small church, not somewhere huge where people can be in separate parts. And it's not like Daryl and Carol said, "Be right back" or anything to give the group a heads up that they were leaving. No?

 

Didn't Sasha say " there's 3 of us missing " when they were looking for Pegleg Bob ?

 

If I remember right that is what she said

She didn't say 2 left on their own, and 1 we don't know about. I took it as she didn't know where they all went

Maybe I'm reading too into. But if that were my tight knit group, I'd prefer to have good communication and keep everyone together

 

Yes, Bob, Carol and Daryl were missing at the time!

 

So when Daryl said they had help after being told about the people at the hospital, do you think he is referring to Rick and the others, or the vatos they met before in Atlanta taking care of the elderly. If it is Rick's group, that could explain why he did not walk out with whomever he is with when going back to the church.

 

He's going back to get Rick IMO

 

^This. Deleted my last post when I realized my mistake. Daryl and Carol left at night and Daryl is back with Noah the next evening. Would I be correct that the Abraham group is out one day longer? I'm seeing it as; Daryl/Carol/Noah episode takes place over the same one day Abrahams' group travels, wrecks bus, arrives at library. So their night at the library is the same night Daryl and Noah return. The second half of the episode is the next day traveling in the fire truck, and would be happening as Daryl/Rick plan to rescue Beth/Carol. Maybe the groups will reunite and storm the hospital?

 

That would be my guess too, should be interesting!

 

Why did Daryl tell Noah to stay in the bushes. They could have both walked out together.

 

In one of my wife's magazines, the show's producers indicated that what's happening now is about 2 or 3 years (I think) after Rick was first in Atlanta. I'll take a look at the magazine again when I go home and find out for sure.

Only thing I can think of is because Noah is limping and maybe Daryl wanted to stay ahead to make sure the coast was clear

 

That's what I'm thinking. She even said to Daryl during the episode that they should do more than just watch the building. She knew that they were going to take her to the hospital, and that the guys in the car were at least dressed as cops so maybe there was some sort of 'normal' behavior inside the hospital. Plus her getting run over would take the heat of Daryl and Noah for them to escape quickly. If not, they would have had to hide from the cops or maybe engage them so that would compromise their escape and risk all of them getting captured or killed.
