Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Hey sorry for the late reply on this. It is a cobra 75. I put the module that hold the circuitry under the dash and stuck the part that you connect hand held part through the little cubby next to the steering wheel. I then ran the co ax cable through the floor and out to the driver side of the bed. if you still want pics I can get some.

If you want the top screws to fit flush, you're going to need the screws like the bottom one on the tailgate. Part # 90166-6003 you'll need 7 of them from the dealership. Or you can just take one of the bottom screw with you to a hardware store and see if they have one similar. I just bought the screws from the dealership so it can match like the bottom ones.

It's better to be a little over the cab. Helps in knowing your clearance in parking garages! I think the stock antennae is 31" so this one is a bunch shorter

It's just slightly taller than the top of the cab, which is good if you ask me. Early warning if you are worried you won't fit under something. ;) I'll take a closer look later and give you a better idea of where it sits.

No noticeable change in AM/FM reception from what I can tell. I'm in a well populated area and radio reception has never been an issue. Was just looking for a nicer, sturdier antenna that was not as tall as the stock one. This one fit the bill. I do listen to AM regularly (Sports Talk and News radio) so one of those super short stubby ones may have been too small.

I have that same one now. It looks good but functions poorly in bad weather and while driving in certain areas.
