    They actually won't do it. Said they could buy all new wheels and tires which would be about $5k or they can look for a different car with different wheels on it. So they're looking for a different car.

    That's really awesome. Maybe its a Memphis thing. You don't hear many problems with people and buying cars around here. Maybe why all the dealerships here are so fuckin big and successful. Haha no way I would have someone tell me "pay an extra $5k or pick a different car". I'd tell them to go fuck themselves.

    Question for those of you who know what youre doing: is there anything wrong with getting the standard all pro rock sliders (bolt on) and welding them on? It looks like they have 4 3x3ish steel plates along the sides where you bolt them onto the frame, I was looking at getting a set but want them welded on (unless you guys dont think thats a good idea)

    What issues could you have? Poor quality build could be a problem or poor quality installation. That's the only issue I could see. And yes. I use my sliders multiple times every time I off-road. They would be my first piece of armor to recommend for not wanting to completely destroy your truck. Haha

    What kind do you have Gid? I was looking at all-pro and for the 4door long bed its near 500$ (for the heavy duty one) and the avid off road product is 390, which equates to the standard duty all pro sliders (both at 1.75x.120). I dont need the most expensive one, but I also want something that is going to hold up between a "rock and a hard place" so the truck wont have to haha. Also Levi, I may be cashing in on that offer if you can weld/wonna teach someone a little bit about it AND chop the frame for 35's...I'm just sayin'

    I got BAMF. I bought them for no other reason then GB pricing and I like the design. 1.75 x .120 wall is plenty strong. That's rated for the weight of our trucks. Pick out the design you like best and at least a slider made of 1.5 x .120 and you should be fine. There's company's that build sliders that the design itself is weaker but you can certainly ask what we think ...

    I think im gonna call all pro tomorrow to see if their standard duty comes in 4dLB and if so, I'll prob go with those, weld on. If not, Avid makes the same quality for a fact so then I would go Avid. I like the kick out in the rear so thats kinda a "must" for me. Im pretty sure no issues would arise with any one of those products. I'm assuming I can also use a high-lift jack, using the sliders to lift the truck once I get the 35's, that true?

    Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
    No more dynamic alignment.
    Truck drives straighter now.
    Ended up leaving the balljoints but got the LCA bushings. I'll say it again. Fuck balljoints.

    The Energy bushings are really tight. I could flex the old ones by hand. But spreading that grease at 38 degrees wash tough. Got a lot of use from the heat gun.
    Alignment shop set caster lower than I wanted but it handles nicely on the highway so I won't make them redo it.
