nah, u made the right decision, 20's! but u can still run 265's with 20's

 

Im having a hard time deciding on 33s or 35s.

 

35s are the only way to go!!! gonna be my next set...whenever bills and shit stop getting in the way lol

 

any issues with rubbing? or is the ome lift with the scs rims with 4.3"bs nad 0 offset good enough?

 

you're going to need trimming no matter what with 285s, whether it be cab mount chop or inner fender well trimming. that backspacing will push the wheel/tire away from the UCA so the tire wont rub it

 

Well do you think the 4.3" bs is enough to clear the UCA. And is there any one here that can help with a CMCif I need it?

 

That should clear it, the factory wheel BS is 5.5 and usually a 1.25" Spidertrax spacer allows you to clear the uca with 285s on the factory rims. Ya there's plenty of people here in FL willing to help get stuff like that done, all ya need is an angle grinder and the right amount cut off

 

So the less bs'ing the further is it away from the uca? I have neither of those items. ill be on vacation for a month in florida, and was hoping to get things done to the truck while im there

 

I had a cmc done just because I was up seeing Eddy @ SOS concepts at the time and figured why not (I prob didn't "need" it because I really didn't have a problem with the CM yet). I have: 17in ATX Crawl (4.5 BS, 0 Offset)w/ 285/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs and the only real rubbing I ever have had has just been the plastic towards the cab. I honestly just keep hacking away at it anytime I hear it rub. It really has only been the driver side for me. My OME lift with 885s and a 1/4 spacer on both sides has been great. I just got my Icon lift today and putting it on Sat so I hope there is no rubbing when I slap it on because I think it will be a little lower.

 

so much to decide. lol my plan was to get sliders on when I came back since I was going up to Tenn and was planning to stop at Eddy's but plans changed since I came back from my deployment sooner

That's my only debating is cutting. that's also why I was thinking 275/70/17

 

you can always CMC later. You won't be rubbing that bad to where it is really needed until you decide to wheel it. I rode around without a cmc for a long time. Hell even wheeled at Hard Rock without it chopped and wasn't an issue. Do you already have your lift on?

 

yes I have the OME lift with 885's w/ I believe the 1/4 spacer and all pro leafs in the rear

Heck if I know. Ha I would have to google wheel offsets again like I did when I was wheel shopping a couple years ago just to understand it all again . Lol

 

285/70/17 duratracs, already emailed the guy and he won't separate the rims and tires but heck these are the same tires I got at about half the price.
