What post processing, if any, do you do?

Lightroom works wonders for getting the most out of over/under exposed images.

I've got an older version of Lightroom, 2.6. I need to upgrade. I just downloaded Nikon's Capture NX-D to play with.

So, fellow-photographers. I don't have nor do I plan on getting PS. I would like to be able to do Panoramas in LR. Does anyone have a favorite plugin to do so in LR?

Any other favorite Plugin editors in general for LR?

I already have enfuse, morgify and storyboarder and am planning on at least debating getting the Google Nik Collection of Plugins (I only want a few, but I think it may be less expensive to just get the bundle), but other than that, any "must haves" for LR I should know of?

I do not own or use any plugins for LR but for Pano's in the weekly picture thread someone suggested Microsoft ICE. Works great as long as your on Windows and the price is right, it is free.

Managed to get some decent pics of Tundra Swans yesterday

After getting back from 2 weeks hunting pheasant in SD. Almost looks like the ocean at times

    First week was T-shirt weather

The Admiral handled his Weim for me several times. After we got our limits one day she went on point again.

Last Tuesday drove 500 miles round trip to the Mn. side of Brookings so one of my friends could pick up a new pup. Roads weren't the best but it was worth it. Think John found the right one so we broke him out of puppy jail
    [IMG]

Why yes I DO own the road. And if your coming head on please pull off into the ditch well in advance. And no you are NOT going to do 65.

Lots of waterfowl migrating through. Took this just North of Ipswitch

Cold was bad enough the last week but then the wind....

Another great trip this year. Guess I better get the birds out of the back of my truck but they are still frozen solid and that is not going to change anytime soon.

Thanks for the heads up, but I'm on Mac... lame.

Also, I'm from Aberdeen, SD. I'll be heading back there for the holidays. Best pheasant hunting I know of!

Hey Chaz, have a look at PTGui. There's a trial version.

Looks like a great trip Mike! A puppy, field time over dogs and limiting out, nice weather on day one... jealous

Also, that latest set in the snow is really nice Chaz. The white looks great on my end!

I use PTgui and Photoshop. PTgui has way more adjustments in it. But I often tend to like how photoshop does panos better.

I take lots of panos on my trips for landscape stuff. I love them.

I am not aware of any LR plugin that does it

A Traynor YCS50 head I used to have. It started doing weird stuff and the magic smoke came out one time so I sold it. Now I gig with an Egnater Tweaker 15.

I used to do a lot of 360 panos from the helicam using PTgui. Good stuff.
If you don't want to drop a wad of cash for PS, you can get the CC for $20 a month. That's what I'm doing. But after a few years, its the same as buying it...

Thanks! I enjoyed them as well :)

It looks like a great program. I, however, have met my spending limit for a long while haha I'll surely add that program to the "Someday" list . . .

Chaz, do you know about GIMP? It's like a PS clone. I haven't looked at it in a long time but the feature set closely follows PS. Maybe it does panos as well?

You get what you pay for with GIMP. I have used it quite a bit for graphics and while it is not as refined and is more clunky to use than Photoshop, it works pretty good to be completely free. I have no idea if it will stitch panoramas.

Well, I just ordered a Fuji X-E2. Found a couple used ones but decided just to buy new. It was only slightly less than twice as much as the X-M1, lol. Very excited. I'm interested to see if I want to keep my D90 after I get the Fuji.
