TW is one of the most active communities I have ever seen. I know that if you post up on most any other forum it is a total crapshoot as to whether you will ever get a response, let a lone in a timely manner. It got me thinking... What percentage of new threads posted on TW go without a single response? I would venture to say that it is less than 5% I think some of the technical ones that are posted in areas that aren't frequented might get skimmed over as they don't stay on the home page very long and most people don't deep dive into the sub-topics. Personally, if I don't catch it when I refresh the home page... I probably will never see it. Thoughts?

The number of unanswered posts on tacomaworld.com is precisely equal to the number of replies in this thread.

But I noticed questions that are asked a lot on this forum are sometimes left unanswered. "will these wheels fit" stuff similar to that

Edit: And lame build threads like mine don't get replies haha

Kill you. With the weather around here part of me wishes I was in Tennessee...
I guess I have noticed that quite a few build threads don't get a ton of attention. There are a couple that I know of that I am the only poster other than the OP haha. New member threads, and yeah redundant threads seem to get ignored...

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
you don’t want to be here. it’s 18* here tonight no snow. half the people freak the hell out if it gets below 25* and act like you can’t walk out side even to the car without putting 5 layers of cloths on. people can’t drive here, rain and ice and they still try and do 80+MPH and cause wrecks. oh and if we do get snow forget about trying to get things you may need. schools will open late or close close with the though of snow.

I reckon that's because there are so many threads asking that. If the person searches for it, They will find hundreds of other threads asking the same thing. I dunno.
Don't worry, my build thread has been virtually unnoticed lately too! Lol

Well of course, people get tired of the same question being asked over and over. I'm guilty though, I asked questions like that when I first joined TW. And our builds go unnoticed because we can't keep up with memario and his build..

    I'm guilty too, I can't lie. :)
Yeah, my build is nowhere near Memario's status. 2wd and no money, so all my mods are cheap/free.

Oh you guys... My build has really stagnated lately! Gives you time to catch up! I built mine the way I wanted it and to be honest if I did it again im sure sure would be different. Do it the way you want and what you can afford. My life has changed for sure. Buying a house really put a damper on the mod funds. Ill probably be moving in the next 6 months or so hopefully somewhere warmer and that surely will reinvigorate the mod bug. Ill probably buy a new (to me) truck to start a new build though.
