    Anyone else find it ironic that a supplement made by crossfitters for crossfitters is talking about unneeded stress on the body???

    Before you go knocking protein powder and praising this "tested" new product, I'd wager to bet that WAY more research has been done on protein powder and it's effect post workout then this guys stuff. Also, what's wrong with sugar post workout? People have been "bio-hacking" the post workout meal thing for decades, and a general consensus is protein and carbs are best.

    Maybe this chemical this guy is pushing is the next best thing. I'd lean more towards another CF based company marketed to the crossfit organization to make some fast dough. Also wouldn't be surprised if Glassman himself doesn't start getting a kickback from sales.

    I was noticing that it was tested in crossfitters and oly lifters....what about the guys that aren't those? That do it all...high intensity stuff, high weight stuff, high rep stuff, bodybuilding stuff....etc...test it on those fools too

    I wish mine was full of sugar, then I wouldn't have to add sugar to it. As it stands, I have to order a tub of protein and a tub of dextrose.

    dude half of the time after gym when i was on craze, i was so fucking high i wasn't even paying attention to the road, half of the time im like "how the fuck did i get home, i didn't even looked out my windshield". everyone's receptor is different i guess.

    when i run out of pre workout i just mix a scoop of creatine and beta alanine with tap water....better then nothing.

    i use to mix creatine, BCAA, citrulline malate and shake it up in some Mt.dew

    True, amino acids are absorbed faster than protein powder. Protein powder is absorbed faster than chicken. That being said, you do know that the catabolic window has been proven to be complete bullshit, right? It doesn't matter if your get your protein 45 mins after you workout or 2 hours after your workout. Hell, I know some intermittent fasting guys that wait 6-7 hours after their workout to eat. Also, as I'm sure you know, when you workout, you lose glycogen. Glycogen is responsible for muscle contractions and the energy to do so. The best way to replenish glycogen is high glycemic index carbs post workout. High glycemic index carbs are fast digesting, so they get to your glycogen stores fast. High glycemic index foods are those with simple sugars (Pop Tarts, candy, soda, etc.)

    Of course, if you're like me and think the glycemic index is mostly bullshit and don't have diabetes, you could just eat high GI foods all day :D

    Next, is the price issue. Of course, being associated with Crossfit, it's going to be extremely overpriced. You can get a tub of ON BCAA's for like $19. It only has the big 3 amino acids, but the big 3 are the only ones that play a significant role in muscle-building. Sure, your stuff may have every amino acid known to man, but leucine, isoleucine, and valine are the only three that play a major role in muscle-building. Besides, if you're consuming enough protein and aren't training fasted, you don't need BCAA's or amino acids anyway.

    I'll be expecting some home-made pineapple flavored pre-workout in my mailbox in a few weeks.

    I love Serious Mass. The only thing that sucks is that 10 lbs only lasts a few weeks because a scoop is the size of my fist. Shit works though
