Does anyone have these? Do they like the quality? I.E. light output, projection of the light? Thinking about buying them but want some input before I spend 500$ on those beasts.

Pros: no waiting for a set to be built/modifying your own

    Cons: Ugly
    Moisture issues
    Lens coating peels off
Output is usually off (projectors rotated)
halogen projectors (not as wide as HIDs)

Spend a little more and buy a set of retrofits OR buy a projector kit for less and install them yourself!

Dang really? And I have no idea how to retro fit. Looks like a painful process.

The guy above you in that post has some pretty good in-depth how-to's. It takes patience.

I actually just bought a set of these because I truly like the U-bar in them. Unfortunately they are taking up space on my dining room table atm, to my wife's dismay.

When they first came in I did go out and hook them up to the truck just to check out the lights to make sure they all worked and test the light output as I was curious about them myself.

They really are not true projection lights. They have H9 (halogen) light bulbs in them behind the fisheye lens. I went ahead and bought an LED H9 kit which should be arriving soon and I will let you know.

Just had a bad experience with these myself. Went through 4 different sets under warranty and every set had lens issues. Spots that look like snowflakes appear on the inside of the lenses. Now they said I'm SOL due to the warranty is up. It's funny how they said that they had never heard of this issue.......my ass!!!!

Some regular aftermarket ones have that same snowflake effect, you can wipe it out while you have the lens off. It's something to do with whatever they wash or coat the lens with.

It doesn't look like something removable. But that would be great if it is. Will have to get some info on how though. Thanks
