    Also have this one. Forgot the model number. It is used, still works, locks etc. Nothing broken and I took it off my truck for the upgrade to the power version

    Wonder if I could uninstall my power handle mechanism, leave the wires in, and switch in this handle. Then the wiring that comes with this one could be sold with my power lock handle.

    Can you take a pic of the wiring that comes with this?

    I went with the pop n lock, and have it wired to open with the passenger door unlock.

    The install on these is as simple as running wire and splicing into two wires under the dash. Probably a 15-30 min install. Just with having to remove the panel in the tailgate.

    As for the manual version. They are universal throughout the 2nd gen
