I just took my lab to the vet on Saturday, he weighed 95 and the doctor thought he should lose about 5 pounds.

Depends on the overall build though. Just watch the fat because they can really fill out. Oliver is 100 now and Vet said he's very healthy and lean. He has a large frame so he's goig to weigh more while still being lean. Labs really full out around the belly and you can feel their "love handles" if you grab on the sides.
We feed Oliver about 3 1/2 cups of food a day. 1 1/2 cups for breakfast and dinner and a "snack" about a cup at lunch. We exercise everyday too!
My old boy Oakley was around 115-120lbs and was very similar size to Oliver so obviously he was over weight.

I try to exercise the Poopster at least once daily-where he's running for a half hour. He also gets a couple of walks during the day and some ball time. When I add it up, it's probably at least an hour.

Meet Remington! He's 6 m/o and 65lbs. 3/4 great Pyreneese and 1/4 Akbash. Expected to be 130-145 lbs.:D We just got him yesterday from FlPyrs rescue.

He will be joining our other 2 Labs and Aussie. After the recent loss of Courage, our biggest lab, we finally decided it was time to give another a forever home :)
