another 4.10 gear swap

got an 07 with 31s and a fat bobs its a little sluggish is this all i need to do the swap? what else do I need to get if anything before i take it down to the shop and have them put these in?

 

Our 4cyl come with 4:10 stock.

I went from 4:10 to 4:88

 

You'll need the install kits to go with that ring and pinion. All that for the front too if you're 4x4

 

I don't have a 4x4 all the research I found said 2wd base models had 3.31s

 

Before spending $$$ on that swap, confirm what gear ratio you actually have, don't ASSume. The axle code should be on the door pillar sticker.

 

If you have the 3.31 then 4.10 should be good but you'll still need the install kit for it.

 

My 03 TRD Tacoma came stock with 4.10s and then I switched it to 4.88s and im running 35/12.50/16r TSL SuperSwampers.

 

Couldn't find anything on the pillar found a sticker on the rear differential that says B8 051 0328070634 I can't get a pic to load for some reason

I'm Already 6-700 into in with gears an install kit and labor why not a rear locker? Any cons?

 

That was my exact reasoning for throwing in lockers at the same time.

Went with arb lockers in the front and rear

 

I went with G2 from 4WPs

 

Maybe, on your truck, its on the sticker under the hood:
Next to 'A/TM', there should be a 4-digit code like 'A03A' (that is the axle code)
